The Chief Constable regrets to have to say
that he has today dismisseda Constable from the Force
for wi1fu11y telling an untruth to senior Officer.
1n General Ordar No. 45 o£ the 3rd June, 1936,
the Chiaf Constableset out quite c1early his opinion
that any .ol ce who wi1fu11y departs from the truth
is utterly unfit for the Police Service,whether such
departurefrom the truth is a false entry in a note-book
or Journal or Para3e Book, or by any other form of
falsehood.
