The Chief Constablewishes it clearly understood -
that if any officer rides pillion or carries a pillion rider
on a motor bicycle on or off duty, and meets with an accident,
no matter what are the circumstanceso£ the ccident, the Chief
Constablewill suspendhim from duty, with loss of pay, until
recovery.
In the Chief Constable'sopinion the County
should not be expectedto pay an officerwho.indulges i.nsuch a
reckless act o£ fo11y.
