X Jonathan BOLSHAWDear Steve,I am obviously trying to get this to you beforeyou depart for the UK, thank you for thephotograph of the helmet, however this helmetdates between 1901 and 1952. It's all to do withthe Crown which is known as a Kings Crown (alsoknown as Imperial or Tudor) and was brought inimmediately after the death of Queen Victoria in1901. So in a nut shell it could not have belongedto Jonathan Bolsover. However out of interest Ihave attached his record. It would take someconsiderable time to now try and find the nextnumber 32. If your sister would like to donate thehelmet to the Museum it would be gratefullyreceived and we of course would pay for postageand packaging. Of course we would then see if SOCOcould come up with anything and I would let youknow. Thanking you for your interest, best wishesJim Talbot.
